The biggest influence in my photography career was my Uncle . His passion for photography was contagious. As a child I remember him coming to visit with his old fashion camera with a flash gun on the side using actual flash bulbs.
This photography junkie even took two cameras to his son's wedding because he said ,"I am a better photographer".
A veteran of the US Navy he took no guff from anyone, but if he like you , as a show of affection he would yell "Get over here ya hump".
"Get over here ya hump" and discover the passion I discovered from my Uncle.

He was a Decorated American Veteran who loved photography and was lucky enough take pictures of many US Presidents.
I never remember a time when he did not have one or two cameras with him on a visit.
My earliest memory of him is when I was 4 or 5 years old and he drove his old brown paneled station wagon to Toronto for a visit. The family decided to go up north for a few days. The adults were loaded into the rows of bench seats, and all us kids were put into the back of the station wagon. In those days cars did not have seat belts and the back of a station wagon was a large metal storage area.
All us kids were loaded into the back of the station wagon with pillows to protect us from the bumps and bruises. The food & camera equipment was placed under the rows of bench seats for protection. Ah, the good old days! #TheGoodOldDays #Photography #Memories
